Hello Subscriber,

Thank you for your continued interest in our TV show, Cliff’s Wild Outdoor Adventures.   There are a couple of important issues and events that I wanted to talk to you about.
Free Hunt Drawing:
REGISTEROur free hunt giveaway promotion continues with a new winner every month, so be sure to go to our website at http://www.woatv.com/ and get in your entry to win for the next free hunt!

Congratulations to our August winner, Jimmy Podaras  from Houston, TX.  He will be coming to Argentina to hunt doves with us.  The dove hunting is unbelievable year-round and he should expect to shoot over a 1000 rounds a day!   If you have never experienced anything like this before, it really needs to go on your “must do” list during your lifetime!

Previous winner Pete Smith, just completed his trip and he had a fantastic hunt!

New and Improved WOA Hunts:
Also, while on our website when you are entering the free hunt drawing, check out the link to our new partner company, WOA Hunts http://www.woahunts.com/

There are many new hunting opportunities and last minute specials and cancellation discounts.  This site is still being constructed so check back frequently to see many more opportunities being added every day.  We are also working on some new North American hunt drawing s as well as New Zealand hunt give-a-way s to our viewers (such as elk, red stag, bear, mule deer and cougars!)…. please email your ideas on this!!!  You can get to WOA Hunts website from the link on http://www.wildoutdooradventures.com/

Rack-It-Up Contest Winner update:

Earlier this summer, we did a joint promotion with The Sportsman Channel to offer a free caribou hunt.   The contest winner was Jerry Nelson of Osceola, Iowa

A couple weeks ago, Jerry went with our WOA Marketing Director, Bill Rivas, to northern Quebec to hunt with Jack Hume Adventures.  They were hunting the Quebec-Labrador Caribou species.  The hunt was very successful and was filmed for an upcoming episode on our show, Cliff’s Wild Outdoor Adventures.

Besides winning the free hunt, J erry’s luck continued and he was able to get 2 caribou.  While there on the caribou hunt, he was also able to get a black bear.  Just how lucky can one hunter be??!!

Congratulations Jerry!

The promotion was a great success and The Sportsman Channel received an unbelievable amount of entries . The viewer response was incredible.
In addition to the free hunt, our television show sponsors donated to the winning s with a huge Sportsman Product package.  Here is what the winner got in addition to the free caribou hunt:
Sportsmen Channel - Airfare, Promotion
Jack Hume Adventures - Charter Flights
CZ- USA - a model 550 hunting rifle
Burris Optics- variable rifle scope and optics
Gerber - knives and gear
Federal Premium - a case of ammunition
Sitka Gear – a full suit of camo hunting clothin g
Trophy Blend -a case of cover scent sticks and attraction scent sticks.

I was almost as excited about the gear package as the hunt!   I think this will be one hunting year that our winner, Jerry Nelson will never forget!

Oh, I overheard our marketing director, and there has been talk about another promotion for next year with The Sportsman Channel… and I heard something about Red Stag in New Zealand as the dream hunt!

Broadcasting Update :

I want to thank so many viewers for writing to me.  I would like to give you my gratitude for expressing your sincere interest in viewing our show.  It makes me feel good to read your letters because sometimes I get to wondering if I am sharing something you want to see.

Also many of you wrote about your frustration of not being able to see our show anymore because of the loss of MOR. As most of you already know by now and from my last letter, one of our show distributors, the Men’s Outdoors and Recreation (MOR) channel has gone out of business and is no longer broadcasting any programs either on Dish or DirecTV.

We are still broadcasting on The Sportsman Channel throughout the USA on many cable networks.  In Canada we are broadcasting on the Wild TV network channel on both satellite and cable networks.  (Wild TV is a separate broadcasting channel network in Canada and is not affiliated with us here at WOA Productions or Wild Outdoor Adventures television).

There are also now a few groups that are working on putting together other channel networks to take up the massive void in the outdoor programming market caused by the closing of the MOR channel.  MOR had approximately 100 producers of hunting and fishing programming in their broadcast schedule before their demise.

I feel there is a lot of room for growth in hunting and fishing outdoor programming and the number of viewers are there to support the addition of another good outdoor programming broadcast channel.  But I also believe this new channel will need to reach the many households in the USA that are not only on cable networks, but on satellite as well local broadcasting channels.

Another option I am considering is to “self-syndicate” our show to your local broadcasting stations.  It would require that I enter into a broadcasting agreement with each individual broadcasting station.  That is quite involved, since it would require us to directly distribute the show to hundreds of individual stations each week.   But I am seriously considering this option as a way to increase our distribution to the viewers and not make it subject to viewer loss nationwide by any one channel as happened with MOR.

I need your help to do this… If you would like me to distribute Cliff’s Wild Outdoor Adventures television program to your local broadcasting station, I need to know which ones you are watching.   It would help also if your local channel were to hear from you, the viewer.  Let them know you would like to watch Cliff’s Wild Outdoor Adventures and request them to add it to their programming.   So please request your local channel to add our show and forward our contact details to them.  Our contact details are:

Attn: Distribution Director
WOA Productions
Cliff’s Wild Outdoor Adventures
6421 NE 171 Street
Vancouver , WA  98686

  or email at info@woatv.com

When you send the request to your local channel, let me know as well, so we can follow up with them about your request.

Here is another twist on the subject.  I am willing to work with other show producers to accomplish this.  So please let me know which hunting and fishing shows you enjoyed the most that you lost on MOR.  I will contact them and discuss the possibility to work jointly with them to send to each station a distribution or our shows for a hunting and fishing “block” of time (maybe a couple of hours of hunting and fishing on a certain night) on their channel for you to enjoy.

Thank you for your help and I am optimistic that our efforts in adding the distribution of broadcasting to get the show out to you will be successful!

Internet Broadcasting:

I have been approached by several web site broadcasting companies that want our show to be added to their programming.  They are running the hunting and fishing shows on a streaming broadcast on their websites.  Most also offer the ability to view on demand where you can go and view the previous episodes from current and previous seasons whenever you want.  In addition to watching it on your computer monitor, you can also connect your computer to your television and watch the shows on your TV!

Please let me know of your thoughts on this and if any of you are currently watching your hunting and fishing shows on the internet.  If you are and like the website you are watching, please let me know which ones you watch.   Please send all responses to me at info@woatv.com.

Well, that was a lot of things to go over, and my marketing director would tell me that I wrote a book……

Don’t forget to enter for the hunt drawing on our website!!  http://www.wildoutdooradventures.com/

Good luck hunting!
